Michelle`s Cafe in Lagrange

It was just okay. A little disappointed... I ordered sourdough bread and it was white bread and the server said it was sourdough. The bacon was burnt a little but 'acceptable'. Blue sky Waaaaay better! Worth the drive.

The specials are always a go-to for me here. Good prices, friendly courteous waitresses and we've never had a meal we didn't like!

Another Diner style place. More diner than Cafe as the name say. I’m not sure why people think these mom and pop places cook from scratch. The sausage gravy had that metallic from a can taste. Was very pasty. I will say the service was very good. But I did not not my food at all.

Tim & Cheryl very friendly owners; not stuffy'. Very friendly staff; anxious to serve you. Good food ! Their chicken or turkey wraps are delicious. More than one person can usually eat. Good breakfast sandwiches vs. usual pancakes, bacon & eggs (although very good as well) or oatmeal. Prices comparable to other local facilities.Nice to meet local friends from area communities. Share information as well. Come join us!

Service slow 25 min to get food after order placed

We had a party of 22 the service was fantastic as was the food thank you Michelle's cafe I would recommend to anyone with a small party

Great local restaurant

Small town cafe with delicious food at a great price. We stopped here for lunch I got a club sandwich and iced tea and hubby got a burger with water. Both meals were delicious and the fries are perfectly crunchy and seasoned great. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. We will stop in again

Surprising hidden gem. Food was good and resonably prices, service was great. The decor and ambiance was fresh and clean. Loved the lunch counter with white subway tile contrasted with dark blue walls, like a trendy deli. NOT a dingy diner. Will return.

I've never had a bad meal there. Today I ate their paprikash and cream of potato soup. Both great. My favorite is their club sandwich, which is outstanding - and huge!

Stopped in for lunch seeing I've lived in LaGrange for 9 months now and have never been in before. Good food and good pricing. Great service!

Walked in. Nobody to greet us, no big deal sat down. About 10 min past and finally get noticed. Wife and I are hungry as can be. Server asked if we wanted menu’s? What am I missing here? Yeah. I guess. Next question ...”what to drink?” Lol. You guys kidding me? Coffee. Which might be the worst ever. The rest of it well was equally bad. Fries were cold. Burger dry. Just typical low quality food.

I’d love to tell you how good the food was but never had a chance to eat it. My fiancé and I went in for brunch. The waitress asked us if we wanted breakfast or lunch menus. I asked if we could see both and she rolled her eyes and said breakfast was very limited. We placed our order, I ordered a lunch item not to inconvenience her. After about 20 minutes, she said our food would be right up. After 30 minutes of waiting, and seeing two other tables that came in after us and ordered after us get their food, which happened to be all breakfast items, the waitress asked us what we ordered. I’ve been a server and have worked on hospitality. There is no excuse for this. There was no apology; just rudeness. I’d love to support local businesses but first they have to act like they want our business.

In Lagrange for a realestate deal. I normally don’t eat at “diners”. I guess I’m to good for it. Sorry. I know it says “Cafe”. It’s not. Can’t do any specialty coffee. The coffee they do have is just repulsive. I get the locals love it. That’s how it is in these small towns. Everything is out of a can. You can taste it. The country fried steak is a frozen patty out of a bag and has sausage gravy from a can spilled on top of it. I don’t understand why everyone says a good home cooked meal.

Had a great family get together. Our waitress was on point... didn't remember her name.but the food was very good.get the pie!!! The men's bathroom was very clean,and I look forward to eating here again.

Loved this place for twenty years. It's only gotten better under the new owner, and it was great even before. There are new options on the menu and the place has a good atmosphere. The staff is great, though there is one extremely rude waitress. If you happen to get her, don't let that experience deter you, or you'll be missing out on great food at a great price.

Walked in there was a worker at the register reading the paper never acknowledged that were were waiting to be seated stood there for about ,3 min and then just sat down in a booth waited waited no one came to our table to greet use there was a girl worker at the counter on her phone waited still no one came to our table after entering the restaurant at least 5 min had passed a couple went to the register and the man reading the paper was glad to put the paper down to take their money I think totally we where there 6-7 min and no one came to our table we got up and walked passed the register and still no words spoken to the couple paying myself or my husband I think that the place has non speaking robots working there We will never go back

Good comfort food in an old fashion cafe.

It’s just ok. Food was decent for a diner. I just feel a place that says Cafe should have some specialty Coffee drinks.

It's a greasy spoon diner, without the grease and diner dingy atmosphere. Great food!! Great service. I went away full. And don't forget their fried pickles! Yummm!

Love Michelle's Cafe, always get the biscuits and gravy because its the best in town besides grandmas!

Michelle's Cafe is great it's great place to eat. Please stop stop you are hungry stop you want us to just sit down and drink some coffee it's pretty coffee also I like to drink their water to free you put lemon in it for sure water in it and then put some sugar in it and you got free lemonade and then there it is Boom freak boom what
